How do I use K-Stand?

K-Stand sets up quickly and easily, but there is a ‘sequence’ to make it work. 

Holding K-Stand up:

  1. The Support (shaped like an “H”) lowers backwards.
  2. Turn the two Arms so the extensions turn towards you.
  3. Tabs on the side of the Support interlock with the notches in the Arms.
  4. K-Stand rests (slightly backwards) locking the Arms and Support.

K-Stand on a flat surface

  1. Same as above with one difference
  2. Tilt K-Stand from the top so the Support stays down.
  3. Perform steps 2 - 4 as above.

K-Stand fits in my case but is my instrument protected?

K-Stand comes with a soft cover/sleeve to protect your instrument’s fine finish. This also serves as added protection of the instrument while in the case. 

 

I live local to Gardena, CA, can I pick up instead of having it shipped?

Yes, we offer a pick up location right from our workshop. At checkout select "pickup" and we will email you when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation to the pick up.

 

Do you do wholesale orders?

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we gladly welcome orders from any part of the world. If you do not see your country on the shipping drop-down list, kindly reach out to us at kstandcustomerservice@gmail.com with your order information and we will give you a shipping rate. Once you confirm we can place the order for you and send confirmation.

 

What is your return/exchange policy?

We gladly accept returns/exchanges within 30 days of order placement on non-Custom orders. All returns/exchange requests must be unused/undamaged and in the original packaging. Please email us at kstandcustomerservice@gmail.com with your order number and the subject line "Return/Exchange Request Order #full number#" along with pictures of the item you would like to send back for refund or store credit. For approved returns/exchanges we offer free shipping and will send you a return shipping label once approved.

 

Where are K-Stands manufactured?

K-Stands are hand-crafted in our workshop in Gardena, CA. 

 

Will the K-Stand really fit in my instrument case?

K-Stands are designed to lay flat inside the case of the instrument it is designed for. The standard K-Stand is approximately 12mm thick which easily fits inside a Gig Bag with your instrument. If you have a hard-shell case, it all depends on how much space is available. We do make a K-Stand that is 6mm thick for these situations, but again, it all depends on the space available in your hard case. One exception is the guitar stand, please note that this K-Stand version is not designed to fit into the case for a solid body instrument - it is only able to support the solid body instrument. K-Stand designs are continually evolving to serve the needs of our users so if we don’t have a K-Stand that suits your needs now there is a good possibility we will have one in the future. Does K-Stand only come in Dark Stain?

All standard K-Stands are in Dark Stain but you can order any K-Stand in a different stain color to your preferences for an added service fee. This may affect production time depending upon color availability. Just add your color preference in the Additional Notes at the time of ordering and we will match your choice as closely as possible.
